Sales Representative

Job Title: Heavy Duty Sales Representative

Department: Sales

Reports to: Business Development Manager

FLSA Status: Exempt

GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES:  The Heavy Duty Sales Representative is responsible for selling Mohawk’s medium- and heavy-duty products in Mohawk’s Factory Direct Territories (excluding distributor and regional representatives). The Heavy Duty Sales Representative will work with the sales and business development team to complete and achieve sales by performing the following duties.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Establish and build relationships with new and existing Mohawk customers, accounts, and prospects in the Mohawk Factory Direct Territory.
  • In addition to factory generated leads, research, identify, target and sell Mohawk products to prospective customers in Territory
  • Clearly demonstrate the key selling points of Mohawk’s products, and go-to-market tools such as Mohawk’s government procurement contracts
  • Demonstrate and apply a full understanding of the pricing models, government contracts, and the terms and conditions associated with the product lines.
  • Coordinate with Sales Operations Administrator as required, reconciling purchase orders, completing datasheets, coordinating installation and negotiating terms and conditions
  • Achieve quarterly and annual quotas
  • Help Mohawk close and steward National Account opportunities through direct coordination with Business Development Manager
  • Support Mohawk’s sales network including sales and distributor partners
  • Maintain documentation and records pertinent to all prospective sales opportunities, including diligently maintaining and monitoring Mohawk’s CRM database.
  • Support and travel for Mohawk at Regional and National Trade Shows, for National Accounts inside and outside Territory, and other opportunities as deemed necessary
  • Other duties may be assigned as deemed necessary

QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE, and SKILLS:  Must have a desire to develop mature, new, and growing customer accounts. Must be flexible and willing to learn new sales and research techniques, as well as adapt to existing best practices.  Must be detail oriented and highly organized. Must have exceptional verbal and written communication skills and interact with customers via phone and in-person. Must be driven and goal oriented and willing to take on new challenges and achieve quotas. Must be able to demonstrate meeting goals and expectations.  Must be able to read, write, and speak English language and be understood.  Must be willing to leverage and learn new written e-mail techniques and strategies to facilitate sales. Must be computer savvy including high level on-line research techniques, proficient in Microsoft (Excel, Word, and Outlook) and related software applications. A good mechanical aptitude and/or knowledge of Mohawk’s product line are essential to be successful. Marketing Coordinator

Job Title: Marketing Coordinator

GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES:  The Marketing Coordinator facilitates the timely execution of all marketing plans and projects by assisting the sales department through planning, implementation, and analysis. This position coordinates advertising, composes and distributes press releases, updates internal and external marketing materials, coordinates tradeshows, manages social media and the company website, orders promotional items, and performs other marketing related functions.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Coordinate magazine advertising (traditional and on-line) including promotional write-ups and insertion orders
  • Compose press releases and distribute to trade magazines
  • Manage magazine and public relations contact lists
  • Update product brochures, government mailers, business reply cards and warranty cards
  • Update company website and provide improvement ideas. This includes, but is not limited to, taking pictures and working with website consultant
  • Manage social media sites and post Mohawk content on a consistent and value-added basis
  • Manage Google Ad-words
  • Process leads from capital improvement project business intelligence services.
  • Coordinate tradeshow activities, including but not limited to, coordinate booth selection, register Mohawk employees for badges/seminars, create tradeshow Powerpoints, write press releases, book travel arrangements, and manage trade show co-op funds
  • Attend trade shows as requested by management
  • Order promotional items for tradeshows and distributors
  • Compose internal communications for distributors and post on Mohawk Extranet
  • Represent Mohawk at trade show and marketing events as needed
  • Assist distributors with navigation of Mohawk Extranet
  • Create flyers and other marketing pieces to support off site sales efforts.
  • Organize product picture library
  • Track all marketing invoices and expenses against marketing budget
  • Manage in-house inventory of marketing materials
  • Organize mass mailers, including getting quotes from printers
  • Maintain distributor memos on Extranet and for resellers
  • Work with third party Extranet administrator to identify any necessary changes and/or updates
  • Run and distribute necessary reports for distributors Run and distribute sales reports for distributors and potential distributors
  • Assist in monitoring incoming phone lines

Welder – Shift-2

Mohawk Lifts, a leading lifts manufacturer, is seeking to hire a Welder to join our team!  Welder is responsible for welding activities, including maintaining an efficient and clean work environment to weld current and evolving fabricated products.  The Welder follows safety requirements. Shift-2 Welder works from 8:30am – 5:00pm .

Successful candidates will possess the following qualifications:

Education
Mandatory: High school diploma or general education degree (GED). Welding vocational training or a minimum of three (3) years’ experience in a manufacturing environment in a welding role, including setting and adjusting weld settings based on material types and grades, desired weld bead size and quality.

Knowledge and Skills
Proficiency in welding steel.  Knowledgeable in welding processes including Gas metal arc welding and Flux cored arc welding. Demonstrated skills in pre-heat, weld fit up, weld preparation, weld inspection, and weld finishing.  Must be detail oriented with attention to accuracy. Must be able to read, write, and speak English language and be understood.  Basic shop math.  Must be able to work with minimum supervision.
