ML-220XL: Two Post Car and Truck Lift
Heavy Duty Lift for Heavy Duty Service.
The Mohawk ML-220XL is engineered to handle the demands of modern service bays, combining robust lifting capacity with an elevated reach that accommodates larger light- and medium-duty vehicles. Built on the proven platform of the ML-220, this XL version expands the envelope — giving technicians the strength and height needed for oversized pickups, fleet trucks, commercial vans, and other high-profile vehicles without sacrificing the smooth operation and durability shops depend on.

Unmatched Durability for High-Demand Service Bays
Mohawk lifts are engineered for long-term durability under the toughest shop conditions. Heavy-duty ¾-inch forklift-mast columns deliver unmatched rigidity, while 8 double-sealed steel roller bearings on each carriage ensure smooth, maintenance-free lifting with no plastic wear components.
Twin 4-inch hydraulic cylinders provide balanced, controlled lifting on every cycle, and stainless steel hard lines can be mounted overhead or routed in-floor to accommodate taller trucks and vans. Low-profile swing arms reach under most passenger vehicles, and the included 3″ and 6″ stackable adapters with spin-up pads offer precise, level contact for SUVs and work trucks. With three-stage arm designs, technicians can easily reach even the most challenging lift points.
Advanced Safety Built Into Every Lift
Safety is built into every Mohawk Lift. Both columns use full-range mechanical locks that engage every 3 inches, securing the vehicle at any height. Inside, infinite-position hydraulic safeties work continuously, supported by pressure-compensated flow controls and velocity fuses that guard against unintended descent. Automatic swing arm restraints lock as the lift rises and release only when fully lowered, ensuring predictable and reliable operation for every technician.
Mohawk reinforces this commitment to safety with the industry’s strongest warranty—25 years structural, 10 years mechanical, and a limited lifetime cylinder seal warranty. Flexible financing options, including one- to five-year lease and purchase plans, make upgrading to a Mohawk lift straightforward and cost-effective.
Efficient Lift Operation Without Height Restrictions
Mohawk’s design eliminates the height limitations and interference found on traditional two-post lifts. Instead of overhead cable shrouds or bulky floor plates, the ML-220XL uses stainless steel hydraulic lines routed either overhead or in-floor to keep the workspace open and unobstructed. A patented hydraulic synchronization system replaces the wire rope cables and plastic pulleys used by other manufacturers, while direct-drive lifting rods ensure consistent, low-maintenance operation without the wear points of cable-driven mechanisms.
Because each carriage rides on double-sealed steel ball bearing rollers, the lift delivers smooth, friction-free performance for its entire service life—no lubrication or replacement parts required. The result is a cleaner, simpler, and more durable lifting system that operates effortlessly and stands up to decades of heavy shop use.
The Industry’s Best Warranty—Guaranteed

Under Vehicle Access
Two post lifts offer FULL under vehicle access for all repairs, takes up minimal bay space, while leaving the wheels hanging free for tire, brake or any other necessary repairs.
Heavy Duty Columns
Heavy duty column construction with direct drive cylinders, direct drive lifting rods (not cables) and stainless steel hydraulic lines (not rubber hoses) which will never wear.
4" Cylinders
Large 4” cylinders equal longer seal life and lower operating pressures vs. smaller competitive cylinders.
Safety Lock
ALL position 1” thick mechanical locks on BOTH carriages engage the full length of travel.
Lift Footprint
Mohawk's large and stable footprint measures 30” wide by 24” and is made of 3/4” thick plate. Mohawk’s large base gives stability to the lift, while distributing the load to the shop floor.
RUSTPROOF ALUMINUM ADAPTORS
3” and 6” locking stackable adaptors with a spin-up adjustable pad for precise level lifting
Bearing vs. Plastic
FORK LIFT CHANNEL & bearing (bottom) vs. competitive columns & plastic slider (top).
